Hello and Happy New Year to all!
New year in the Village Community Hall was once again celebrated by a lively group of all ages, dancing to the celebrated ceilidh group, 'Thrice Brewed'.  A great way to welcome in 2016!
Thank you to all who helped to set up and clear/clean, making the evening a success.... and all those who danced the night away!

The group were the first to use the new portable stage, which can be erected in a variety of ways to suit the needs of different users.
We are now raising funds to add a back screen and front skirt to this new acquisition for the Hall. (see below)

Funds have also just been made available for a new lit external sign to be erected by the side of road outside the Hall. This sign will have the name of the Hall, Parish Council, Playgroup and Alans Hairdressing, with contact details.  The next job will be to landscape and tidy that area.
