Sunday 31st July saw a return of theGreat Summer Village Rounders Competition!
Great fun was had by all who attended the afternoon. £850.00 was raised for Carlisle Riding Association for the Disabled.
Many thanks to Wetheral Village Stores, Wetheral Cricket Club and The Crown Hotel who were the main contributors to the afternoon, and to the many others who took part and attended the event, without whom it would not have been such a success.
Get ready for The Wetheral 54th Village Show in The Village Community Hall.
You may take your exhibits to the Hall on Friday 9th September 6.30pm-7.30pm, or Saturday morning 10th September 10.00am-11.45am....25p per adult entry. Children free.
The Village Show will be opened by Mr Tommy Hogg at 2pm. Admission Adult £1.00 Child 20p.
Refreshments will be available and the Auction Sale of contributed exhibits will commence at 4.00pm.
