WHAT A START TO MAY INDEED!
Friday 3rd-Monday 6th May: ‘Art For All’ A very successful weekend event with some wonderful artwork on display. Many thanks to Val Lowe and all her team of volunteers for this inspiring show of talent.
Sunday 5th May: Village Fairy Doors Trail. Another fantastic day for young families and friends. So many people of all ages enjoyed this day. Thanks to Paula Murray (from Alans Hairdressing) and all her willing volunteers both at the Hall and around the village.
Monday 6th May:Village Rounders. Thanks to Giles Vasey and all those who joined in and helped with this fun event.

Maureen Bentley
A great member of our community, friend to all, founder of the Carlisle and Eden Deaf Children's Society, active member of the WI and Village Hall.
Recently a member of The Luncheon Club at the Village Community Hall.
We are extremely grateful for the generous bequest in her Will.

Saturday 18th May 7pm for 7.30pm start: Wetheral Quiz with quizmaster David Keers. In aid of the new Boules/Petanque pitch. Stephen Daniels and his team won the trophy last year.... could your team be victorious? ....or just come along for the village community fun. FINALLY....A Diary Date!
Saturday 13th July: THE VILLAGE SUMMER PARTY. Come and dance to the ever popular ‘ Dukes’. ALSO food will be cooked and prepared by our popular local chef Iain Mckey.  Bar provided
