Wednesday 19th June 7pm:Wetheral WI Centenary Meeting. An interesting talk 'Womens Voices WW1-Present Day' by Jules Wooding. In attendance, our new mayoress and Wetheral ward councillor, Mrs Bowman from Corby Hill. And if that's not enough.... there will be a fantastic birthday cake baked and iced by Angela Hayes, to be cut by Maureen Lofthouse and shared alongside a glass of fizz! ..A memorable meeting for all!

Saturday 22nd June 2pm-4pm:Wetheral Womens Institute Afternoon Tea, with music from The Talkin Fellas. This year Wetheral WI celebrates its centenary.They want to celebrate with YOU and our village! The WI group will use their skills to give you an afternoon of excellent food and entertainment. Prosecco available as well! There will be a high demand for tickets, so don’t delay if you want to join in the celebration, only 84 tickets available. Tables for six can be reserved.
